Redesign the background to all the PC's in the School Purpose:
The PC's found in the library, computer labs, and in Ms. O'Ryan's room are in need of a new background. This background will be chosen by the computer technician and placed on every PC computer in the school. The background should represent your skills as a graphic artist and demonstrate how you view your high school. Think of the school colors, choose a theme, and run with it. Directions:
First: Take a look at the examples and the video tutorial of how to use Adobe Illustrator to create backgrounds.
2nd: Draw out three ideas in your sketch book, playing with composition, color, words, value, and pattern/texture.
3rd: work with the other students in the advanced group and discuss which version is the best. Argue, discuss, change, and make suggestions for each other. If they like some of the elements from the other drawings, redo the drawing using those suggestions.
4th: Once the final sketch has been decided, begin work on the computer, using Photoshop.
5th: Present the final design to the computer technician.
